RO plants come to villagers’ rescue

Villagers in many parts of Punjab will no longer have to drink water concentrated with high levels of nitrates, sulphates, calcium and total dissolved solids. Thanks to the Naandi foundation, an NGO, which has established 85 RO plants to provide clean water to more than 450 villages. The foundation began the project from Giddarbaha village as they found water impurity level high. The villagers have been given cards to fetch water from RO water providing taps.
