Rug Doctor machines honoured

US-based Rug Doctor’s carpet cleaning machine has been recently awarded by the Carpet and Rug Institute and Good Housekeeping. CRI recognised the rental and retail versions of Rug Doctor’s machines, which will also debut this year, with the new Platinum Seal of Approval in the Extractors and Deep-Cleaning Systems category.

The combination of Rug Doctor’s machines and solutions are the only consumer-operated systems that have been awarded this Platinum Seal of Approval rating, and were the first ones to be awarded the Gold Seal of Approval in 2006.

CRI uses NASA-enhanced x-ray fluorescence technology to measure the precise amount of soil removal from the carpet, while also monitoring levels of water removal and texture retention to award its Seal of Approval. Two of the Rug Doctor’s carpet cleaning machines also earned the Good Housekeeping Seal.
