Sanitation survey in Mumbai to take inputs from citizens

Sanitation survey in Mumbai starting from January 5, 2015 under SBM (Swachh Bharat Mission) will also take inputs from Citizens. Mumbai was placed at 147th place among 476 cities in sanitation survey conducted in 2015. Quality Council of India (QCI) will conduct the sanitation survey giving 60% emphasis on solid waste management, 30% on toilet use in both public and personal facilities, while 10% weightage will be on other related activities such as awareness and planning for sanitation. Citizens can give their opinion on a toll free number by giving a miss call, and the lines will remain open till 15th of January, 2016.
