Sanitation club

The recently concluded South Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN) in New Delhi was marked by the presence and resilience of four young students who formed the School Sanitation Club. Set up four years ago, the club aimed at educating students and schools on the importance maintaining clean toilets and following hygienic practices in schools through the medium of games, songs, skits and dances related to sanitation. Their aim is to spread the message that ‘maintaining clean toilets is a duty and an extension of our classrooms in school!’
