Sanitation drive

The Guntur Municipal Corporation is undertaking sanitation drives in all 50 divisions involving the departments of Public Health, Rural Water Supply and Health Departments. There are plans to promote zero waste policy. The major components of the drive include cleaning roads, desilting drains, movement of garbage to dumping ground, door-to-door garbage collection, enforcing ban on plastic, public awareness campaign in public places and anti- mosquito drive.
