SC Johnson acquisition plans

SC Johnson, the $9-billion US-headquartered firm that owns brands such as Baygon, Mr Muscle floor cleaner, Kiwi shoe polish and Ziploc bags, is keen on acquisitions in Indian market.

The company, which is a leader in the liquid vaporiser segment of the pest control market, wants to cater to the mosquito and flies eradication needs of household. Besides Air care segment, pest control will be the biggest growth driver of the company. It hopes to increase the distribution reach of All-Out liquid pest repellant, which reaches around 12 lakh outlets.
