Scientific landfill site

After Gorai, Deonar and Mulund, Kanjurmarg is now emerging as the site for the next dumping yard for Mumbai. The City’s additional municipal commissioner, in-charge of solid waste management R.A. Rajeev said that 141 hectors in Kanjurmarg have been identified to be developed as a scientific landfill site to handle around 4,000 metric tonnes daily.
