Skin bacteria transmits on to clothes

A professor of microbiology and pathology at the New York School of Medicine says that bacteria from the skin like staphyloccus can be found on clothing and towels. Philip Tierno says just using the detergent is not good enough, people must wash clothes in very hot water (140 to 150 degrees) or use bleach failing which they get on to your hands and remain in the washing machine. The author of ‘The Secret Life of Germs’ says people using cold water to handle clothes must wash their hands later.
