Sordid Toilets

Taking cognizance of the pathetic state of toilets in the Mantralaya building, the Chief Secretary, Maharashtra Government, has issued a circular on a clean up drive to improve the sanitation at the New Administrative Building and the barracks consisting of the allied offices. The high profile officials in the Mantralaya Sanitation and Monitoring Committee are chalking out plans for the modernisation and maintenance of toilets, besides the upkeep of bathrooms and effective means of sewage and solid waste disposal. The committee will also conduct a survey across all departments asking officials to fill up a question.
