South India is a growing market for hygiene products: PCIES

PCI Environmental Services has added one more service station for its feminine hygiene business. It has opened up a new centre this week at Kochi in Kerala. PCIES has a strong presence in South India and other parts of India with service centres located strategically at Bangalore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore, Pune, Delhi and Kolkata among others. “There is a huge market for hygiene products, especially in the IT sector, which is expanding rapidly in South India,” said Managing Director Prashant Sule.

“Besides Bangalore, IT hubs are coming up in Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai and Kolkata. We have contracts with leading IT companies like Cognizant and TCS for hygiene services. We are servicing TCS on a pan India basis.” With Gurgaon too expanding rapidly, PCIES is planning to increase its operations in this area as well.
