It’s better to roll up the window while driving out of Howrah Station than to take the unbearable stench generating from piles of garbage, discarded & worn-out tyre, faeces, hotel waste and filth left behind by lakhs of travellers every day. The 200m stretch leading to the railway station is nothing short of a nightmare. Adding to it, the rain has made the situation even worse. Will the local authority wake up?
