“IoT or the Internet of Things generates performance data, alerting FMs to potential breakdowns. FMs can monitor and control the devices from anywhere. Utilising smart building sensors allows us to monitor when & how spaces are occupied,” explained Amit.

Introducing automation in the Waste Management Services at RGIA, Hyderabad, Amit affirms that technological interventions will emerge as a front runner in the field of systematic waste management and set a benchmark for Indian airports. “The software will enhance SOPs and eliminate major paperwork. IoT, GPS monitoring systems and high-tech sensors will optimise hauling routes and obtain real-time data. Automation at RGIA also includes selfie-based attendance via Geo-fencing, Digital checklist via QR codes, Sensors for Bin Management, GPS trackers for Vehicle Tracking and Real-Time reporting which aims to boost efficiency and save money by reducing unnecessary pickups.”

Coming to the integrated security solutions, which involve multi-layered systems and personnel, automation will help tie each component and help monitoring on a single system. “In addition, advanced features such as video analytics will achieve even tighter security and respond more effectively to incidents,” added Amit, as he moves ahead with the vision of making Sumeet Group the largest and the most sophisticated business outsourcing service provider in India.
