TN on Guinness record

Tamil Nadu recently made it to the Guinness Book of World Records with its feat of having “most people washing hands” at a time on the ‘World Hand Washing day’ held last October. The programme organised by the state health department, World Health Organisation (WHO) and Hindustan Unilever Lifebuoy saw a congregation of 15,115 children. The aim was to create awareness on personal hygiene and the need to wash hands before consuming food and after visiting to the washroom.
