TNILDA Meets at Chennai

The Tamil Nadu Industrial Laundry & Dry Cleaners’ Association (TNILDA) recently conducted its second General Body meeting hosted by Hari Krishnan – Managing Director of Butlers Laundry, at Chennai. More than 52 launderers and drycleaners from across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring cities participated. Some of the participants came from Hosur, Kodaikannal, Theni, Cumbum, Coimbatore and Tirupur. The Meeting was a big success. New heads & Executive Committee members of the association were introduced during the meet.

The well attended meet also gave away awards and welcome the new members of the Association. Addressing the gathering, Siddarth – Managing Director of Strom Laundry, Chennai, Owner of Chennai’s biggest laundry, delivered the key note speech. Among the other senior speakers include Coimbatore’s wellknown laundry Owner, Ankita Dinesh – Managing Director of Raenco Laundry, Coimbatore.

In the open house session, participants discussed on major topics that universally affected all in the business. Corrective measures were suggested and improvements within the fraternity were mooted.

The knowledge packed presentation by Venkat – Executive committee member, Chennai, a laundry expert in commercial, institutional and hotel laundry, was a big hit. With a vivid knowledge on laundry operations and services besides being a blogger for B2B & B2C customers, he explained the business models expectations and future of laundry business with detailed SWOT analyses.
