Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided that candidates contesting panchayat elections must compulsorily have flush and water-flow based toilets in their residences or they would not be eligible to contest the elections. This would be implemented for all three-tiers of panchayats from district to village levels.
