Unclean Conditions

The Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad has been off limits for many due to foul smell emitting from a pit dug on the northeast corner that has been filling with sewage inflows and rainwater. The pit was dug during the construction of a sump; however, work came to a standstill. A leaking sewage line running from the toilets filled the tank compounding the problem much to the annoyance of worshippers and tourists. The officials are yet to identify the problem and workout a solution for the same.
