Vectair Systems wins Environment Award

 Vectair Systems has won a prestigious ‘Green World Environment Award’ in the international campaign to find the greenest countries, companies and communities. Vectair’s V-Air Solid multi-phasing air freshener with sub-micron technology competed against more than 500 other nominations for the Award in Environmental Best Practice, and was presented with a trophy and certificate at a presentation in Bucheon, South Korea, in October in engineering and maintaining category.

V-Air® SOLID is classified as VOC exempt and waste-free. It is completely free of any solvents, propellants, HFCs and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). V-Air® SOLID contains no batteries and is classed as non-hazardous for transportation methods. It is designed so that it does not need any external power source such and it doesn’t rely on gravity – all it needs to work is natural airflow. The refill is biodegradable and the dispenser is 100% recyclable. The V-Air® Solid cartridge clip & plastic packaging components are manufactured from recycled and recyclable plastics.

The awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world. They are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management and other independent bodies.
