Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) opened the new Vivanta hotel in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, another addition to its growing numbers in northeast India, including Shillong and Gangtok.
Situated at a height of 10,000 feet, the hotel offers panoramic views of the Tawang valley and the awe-inspiring Himalayas. It is a short drive from the second largest monastery in the world. Services include 80 spacious rooms and suites with an all-day diner, a chic lounge bar, a deli and a selection of spaces for conferences, banquets and other social events. Recreational facilities include a temperature-controlled indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, amphitheatre and play zone for children.
