Washroom maintenance sought by Medak Ordnance Factory

Sunil Date, Joint General Manager, Purchase Department, Ordnance Factory Project, Medak, told Clean India Journal that it plans to outsource cleaning and maintenance of toilets in the administrative buildings located in the factory area to a cleaning contractor.

“The job entails cleaning and maintenance of all 18 common toilet blocks and 42 toilets in officer’s rooms daily using both man and machines.” The ordnance factory has been awarding contract every year to contractors based on the tender requirement and performance.

At present cleaning chemicals being used by the contractor include domestic cleaning chemicals. The tender document has specified minimum 15 people for the cleaning work besides one supervisor.
