Water and sanitation facility for schools

10 Bengaluru city-based government schools will get better water and sanitation facilities including toilets from the next academic year. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is implementing the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activities at the schools, using corporate social responsibility funds donated by Sony.

PS Harika, Research Associate, TERI, said “We will make hardware interventions like renovating toilets, installing new fixtures, repainting them and installing filtration units for drinking water.”
