India’s water treatment and equipment sector has a potential to become one of the largest in the world. India can attract investments to the tune of र20,000 crore in the next 10 years. There is a huge potential as the population is vast and water demand is rising sharply. Currently, the industry is growing at a rate of 18% anually. The investment is expected to come from government as well as from private players. With Gujarat having vibrant industrial environment and manufacturing activity growing at a rapid pace, the need for water for the industries as well as for consumption purpose will attract corporate to get into water recycling and processing activity.
