Workshop on e-waste

MAIT (Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology), the apex body representing India’s IT hardware, training and R&D service sectors, has called for renewed concentration on green technology. The MAIT ‘Make It Green’ workshop held at Pragati Maidan recently in collaboration with EFY focused on emerging legislation on e-waste, the recycling delivery chain and best practices associated with clean technology. Under the aegis of the workshop, the Green Film Festival showcased energy conservation for a better tomorrow. The film festival was followed by a panel discussion addressing the CIOs and CXOs of large enterprises who can activate various green IT initiatives for better e-waste management.
