World applauds Modi’s cleanliness efforts

M Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India, said India is being praised across the globe for revolutionary changes brought in by the cleanliness drive launched by the Modi government. Addressing ‘Swachhata hi Seva’ event at Khatanga in Namkum near Ranchi, Naidu appreciated the government’s initiative in the field of cleanliness and said that it has really become a people’s movement.

Naidu stated that he recently visited several countries in the American continent and India was being appreciated for its cleanliness efforts as well as for its move for modernization and infrastructure creation. “The call of Swachh Bharat has turned out to be a people’s movement and has got acceptance. If every individual takes a vow to keep their house, office, parks or common places clean it will become Samudaik Swachhata,” commented Naidu.
