The civic body in Ranchi would set up a plant at Bero, some 35km from the city to convert the waste generated from household into compost– a bio-fertiliser.
The RMC would also set up a fly ash brick plant at Jhiri near Ratu, around 16km from the state capital. This plant would produce brick from solid wastes generated from households.
