Addition of chemicals are used for Faster cleaning and better results

I was on one railway station in Hyderabad area and the cleaning was in progress on platform no.1. but unfortunately no proper supervision and also on ride on machine scrubber drier they were using only water.

Using of only water is not sufficient to keep the floor clean and Shiny.

Addition of chemicals keep floor clean and dust will not get accumulated fast.
