Building a Professional Cleaning Industry

It has been a long and exciting journey. How time has flown and how we completed 15 years of serving the Indian Cleaning Industry, is amazing!

We at Virtual Info Systems (VIS), took Cleaning and Hygiene not just as a business model but as a social responsibility and worked day-in and day out. We are still continuing to build a Professional Indian Cleaning Industry and disseminating up-to-date information of cleaning technologies and solutions available in India and abroad.

Clean India Journal (CIJ) has always been bearing the torch of the Indian Cleaning industry in the international Cleaning arena by exhibiting at international Cleaning expos. The Clean India team and the Indian cleaning stalwarts planned and travelled as one family for international shows. Along with business, we have shared many memorable moments with all of them.

Today, whatever little CIJ and Clean India Show (CIS) have been able to achieve has been possible, thanks to the support and trust we received from one and all in this industry and the dedicated efforts of our Editor-in-chief Mangala Chandran, Editor Mohana M, Project Director Prakash Kuttappan and the entire team of Clean India.

I still remember in 2005, when I used to tell my friends that I am planning to do a show on cleaning and also planning to come out with a magazine on cleaning…They used to feel either I have a lot of guts or I have lost it.

My special thanks to our Chairman, Jayaram Nair, for showing faith in us, on Clean India as a business model and investing in this project, and also for giving the right guidance whenever we needed the most. Even though CIJ and CIS have completed 15 years, I personally feel this is just the beginning and we have a lot more to accomplish for the cleaning industry and for a Clean India.
