he Amsterdam Innovation
Award (AIA) is a highlight of
the Interclean Amsterdam trade
show. It attracts a high caliber
Tof entries featuring some of
the industry’s exciting and cutting-edge
solutions from which, 12 nominees across
4 categories which include ‘Sustainability
& Environment, Smart Technologies &
Digitalisation, Workforce & Ergonomics,
and Health and Hygiene’, have been
selected by an independent jury. Each
nomination from the 96 submissions, is
soaring high in the world of professional
cleaning and hygiene, with solutions
ranging from sustainable no-touch soap
dispensers to autonomous vacuum
sweeping robots and high-tech wash
drones. A new introduction this year is the
Cleaners Choice Award.
The category winners and the overall
winner of the Amsterdam Innovation
Award are to be announced on 14 May,
the first day of the Interclean Amsterdam
exhibition. The Director of Interclean
Global Events, Robert Stelling said that
“these awards are testimony to Interclean’s
continued passion to facilitate innovative
solutions for a cleaner, healthier, and
more sustainable working and living
environment. We’re proud to continuously
raise the bar and can’t wait to share
the highly anticipated results and shine
a spotlight on the winners.” Michelle
Marshall, the AIA jury president added
that “the jury was tasked with evaluating
many diverse entries from all aspects
of the cleaning sector. The scores were
close in all categories, and the standard of
entries was impressive. We look forward to
seeing all the nominated products when we
get together for the show to decide on the
category winners and the overall winner.”
