MIDC goes clean and green

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is setting an example by being the first state-run body to form a ‘Clean, Green and Eco-friendly’ environmental policy. The policy will set norms for waste treatment, water recycling, rain water harvesting, power conservation, carbon credits, environmental landscaping, and tree plantation. The policy will be ready for implementation within two months.
