Rainwater harvesting mela

Owing to scarcity of water plaguing most of the areas in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has made rainwater harvesting mandatory for new buildings on areas that measure up to 1200sqft and above and on existing sites of 2,400sqft and above. The BWSSB took the help of NGO Arghyam to organise a fair to spread awareness and address various queries on rainwater harvesting. The new regulations will come into effect from May 27.
