Training programme for Building Service Contractors & distributors

In a recently conducted conference in Mumbai, 3M India Building & Commercial Services division launched its new stone floor protector, 3M ScotchgardTM. The conference had a training programme for the building service contractors and distributors highlighting various applications of the stone floor protector and the right usage. Among the trainees were Stealth View, Hindustan Facilities, and Radiant Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd.

Speaking to Clean India Journal, Pedro J Rocio, Global Portfolio Manager-Hard Floor Care Products said, “The ScotchgardTM stone floor protector produces a custom-level gloss/ shine which is less susceptible to scuffs, black marks, stains and scratches. The stone floor protector provides durable and uniform coating in the floor that lasts for a year with minimal maintenance. As the protector does not contain oxyaclic acid, it is safe for both the floors and the user.”

He further added, “Training programmes of this kind helps our distributors thoroughly understand the product and at the same time receive expert guidance. We have planned for many more such programmes.”

Talking to CIJ on operations, Santosh Suvarna of Hindustan Facilities said, “Latest technology would be of no use, if you are not familiar with its correct application.” Norris Xavier, Manager-Training, Radiant Hospitality Services (P) Ltd also agreed that good results could be achieved only when a janitor thoroughly understands the right technique and application of the product.
