RANE (CHENNAI), belonging to the Rane Group, is implementing a 2-phase diecast unit at Sadasivpet, dist. Medak, Telangana on 25 acres of acquired land. The company will manufacture 4000 TPM transport equipment parts and accessories in phase-I and 2000 TPM transport equipment parts and accessories in phase-II. Work on phase-I has been completed in April 2015 and commercial production will commence in December 2015. Civil work has been completed & machinery erection is in progress for phase-II, scheduled for commissioning in December 2015.
SIGNODE INDIA is implementing a 30,000 TPA high tensile steel strap manufacturing project at Dahej, dist. Bharuch, Gujarat. Civil work has been completed. Machinery erection is in progress. KOLAR – CHIKKABALLAPURA District Co-operative Milk Producers Union is planning a 300,000 ltrs/day milk processing plant at Village Yelavahalli, Chikballapur, Karnataka. The project is planned for completion in two years from zero date (August 2014). The products include ghee, dairy whitener, butter, curd, milk powder, etc. Civil work is in progress. Tenders have been invited for mechanical equipment. The project is scheduled for completion in 2016.
SUPREME COATED Board Mills is implementing a 300 TPD paper board manufacturing project at Sivakasi, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu in the existing land. Machinery has been imported from China. Civil work is nearing completion. Machinery erection is in progress. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015.
THE ‘FOUR Points by Sheraton’ 5-star hotel, constructed by Brigade Enterprises, is coming up at Infopark, Kochi, Kerala. It will have 212 keys, F&B outlets, banquets & meeting rooms besides a rooftop swimming pool & spa. It will be managed by Starwood Group. The hotel is expected to be ready for soft launch by September 2017.
THE GOVERNMENT of Karnataka, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, is constructing a 100 beds mother & child health unit at Udupi District Hospital Campus, Bramagiri Road, Udupi, Karnataka. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.137.5 million. The project is scheduled for completion in March 2017.
