Cleanliness drive in Nainital

The women of Nainital have come together under the banner of the Maitri Women Organisation to clean the streets and collect waste materials lying near drains that have been polluting the Naini lake. The organisation will be also performing street plays to raise the level of public awareness on cleanliness.

Naini lake which is a major tourist spot and source of water supply to the city recently recorded high pollution levels.
