To manage the garbage collection problem of Mumbai city, the BMC has come up with a hi-tech solution that allows civic body’s solid waste management department and the citizens to capture images of collection points and uncollected garbage in the city and upload them on the site that will help the civic headquarters to identify spots that might be left out. This system will also help in monitoring the work undertaken by the department and improve cleanliness in the city.
