An NGO converted a drinking water fountain on Marine Drive into a urinal after walkers petitioned the BMC that they needed a place to relieve themselves more desperately than they needed water.
Punjab Association, which had been maintaining the fountain for the last 22 years, agreed to the change when it was approached by the BMC three months ago.
