14th Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble 2015

Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi will showcase the Culinary Skills and Hospitality Knowledge of the Hotel Management Students of India and Sub-continent during the three day Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble (CHE 2015) from 7th to 9th October, 2015. The aim of this event is to accelerate learning and to provide a platform for the students to interact with the Industry Managers who judge the various competitions.

The Chefs and Managers representing different departments of Hotels in Delhi-NCR judge the various competitions such as Bar-wizard Bar Challenge (a cocktail mix-&-straight competition), Bakery & Dress the Cake Competition, Regional India Culinary Contest, Japanese Culinary Challenge, International Culinary Challenege, Fruit & Vegetable Carving, Quick Convenience Food, Hospitality Brain Twister (quiz competition related to hospitality services & tourism), Hotel Facility Planning & Designing (preparing blueprints and layouts of Kitchen, Restaurant, Guest Room, Mini Bar, Reception and Lounge Area) and Floral Decoration Competition. In its endeavor to find out more about the culinary roots and culture of India, the event holds a novel competition every year, with Indian Chat Competition being the new entrant to the series of contests.

The winning teams are awarded at the valedictory function which is a grand affair. “We are proud to organise – The Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble, the 14th time” says the Director- BCIHMCT, Mr. R.K. Bhandari. “We hope to see newer trends with higher benchmarks to encourage Hotel Management Colleges interact with each other and the industry professionals at this iconic event.”
