Avon FM creating skilled workers

To help develop trained professionals, to meet the growing need of manpower and to enhance quality of service, Bangalore based Facility Management company, Avon has undertaken a unique project ‘Parivartan’. The project aims towards Rural BPL youths and is linked to the creation of livelihood/ job opportunities.

Under the Swarna Jayanthi Swarojgar Scheme (SGSY) of the Ministry of Rural Development, ‘Parivartan’ will provide quality training in Employment Oriented Skill Development courses. The project will be implemented in Karnataka, Orissa, Bundelkhand region (Madhya Pradesh) and Andhra Pradesh.

The approach is to take training to the doorstep of youths by creating and developing training infrastructure in their vicinity. ‘Parivartan’ has a network of training centres, qualified trainers and well developed curriculum to deliver quality training. The programmes are customized to impart training in Facility Management, Hospitality and Multi Skilled Technician with an objective to create a large pool of skilled workers in these industries.
