“Green products not effective for hard cleaning”

Abad Hotels & Resorts, a group of 4-Star chain of hotels in Kerala, believes is using more of eco-friendly products for cleaning. Speaking to Clean India Journal at Hotel Abad in Kochi, Bindu Pravish, Corporate Manager-Housekeeping, said, “We mostly use Diversey chemicals for cleaning at the hotels. But for hard surface cleaning in the outer areas of the hotel, we also use local products. We believe in using eco-friendly products but green products are not effective in all cases. Especially in greasy areas, we have found that green products do not give the desired results.” Bindu manages housekeeping in more than 10 properties of the Abad Group in Kerala.
