Hot air to keep rodents away

Among the various passenger amenities introduced by the Central Railway to ensure cleanliness and maintenance in its coaches, is also the new hot air technology which will be used to disinfect the AC coaches. The hot air technology will deal with rodents and cockroaches. Other measures adopted by the Railway include disposable commode covers for western-type toilets, and polygrass mattress in the toilet area and aisle of AC coaches.

The Central Railway is in the process of promoting the brand image of its Wadi Bunder depot by equipping it with modern maintenance facilities.
