Mumbai-based Ampson Chemicals offers Nouryon developed Berol 611, a versatile and cost-effective NPEO alternative for Cleaning Formulations.
Major concerns of using NPEO include very high persistence, bioaccumulation, toxicity (PBT) potential, aquatic toxicity and endocrine disruptor in aquatic organisms. NP and NPEO have been added to TSCA and Toxic Release Inventory list as per US EPA, and are also banned (products above 0.1% weight) as per EU Reach Annex XVII.
Berol 611 offers cleaning formulators an environmentally responsible alternative to NPEO to create high performing cleaning and degreasing products. Its lower foaming characteristics compared to NP 9.5 promotes rinse ability and minimizes pressure load in equipment.
