BMC to launch a new Mobile App

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to launch a new mobile application, which can help people access civic services quick and without hassle. According to the BMC public relations officer Srimant Mishra, the Corporation’s Information technology-project management unit would handle this application. Odisha Computer Application Centre has designed the application along with the IT-PMU wing which the PMU would manage later. While the application is yet to be named it will have the municipal logo as an official remark.

The application will enable people to lodge their complaints by posting photos. The corporation will try to fix the problems within a given fixed time period.
