Visitors’ Views

Visitors, both national and international said that Clean India Pulire showcased everything required for cleanliness/hygiene under one roof. International visitors agreed that people from all over the world must come to Clean India shows (in future) as they could make inroads into the Indian market and source their supplies from a single platform.

The show marked the presence of visitors belonging to housekeeping & FM companies, manufacturing industries, schools, hospitals, hotels, civic bodies, banks, industrial houses, laundry services and others. Food companies showed great interest in the engineering and cleaning products while representatives from Public Sector Undertakings like ONGC, Indian Railways and Fertilizer Corporation of India found the equipment showcased useful. Also present were representatives from places of worship. Mangesh Shinde, Executive Officer, Shri Siddhivinayak Ganpati Mandir Trust, Mumbai said: “The main problems that plague a temple are maintenance the premises, greasy floor, organic waste and pest control. Attending this show provided us with a chance to get all our cleaning solutions.”

“The experience has been good. I also attended one of the seminars, and in fact would like to quote one of the speakers, who said that for the past 24 years that he had been in the industry, this has been the best seminar ever held on cleaning in India.” – John Ringness, Chief Facilities Officer, Kohinoor Group.

“We have been looking for the latest technologies and equipment for solid waste management and we are glad that so many options are available here.” – Vishesh Garhpale, Commissioner, Bhopal Municipal Corporation.

“Being in the healthcare sector, we are very careful about the hygiene standards. By bringing the world class cleaning and hygiene solutions at this Show, I appreciate the efforts Clean India Journal has put in. I had come here with an open mind and I am happy that exhibitors are providing fully customised solutions. Hence, it does not matter even if one does not find solution from among the showcased products in accordance with the requirement, as the exhibitors are agreeing to provide the same.” – Dr Anupam Karmakar, GM-Operations, Jaslok Hospital

“The seminars held were very informative, it helped to share experiences between service providers and end-users, effectively allowing to understand the gaps where improvement can be implemented. The show itself with such a large number of exhibitors was a perfect platform for interaction with the Indian Cleaning industry. It was a worthwhile visit.” – T. Patov, Ranger’s Security and Services, Shilong

“Mechanised cleaning of trains will be soon carried out with various cleaning machines and chemicals. Tenders have already been floated for FM companies to assist in cleaning operations. The primary reason to visit the Show was to understand the various cleaning equipment and products available and select those that provide customised solutions, and it has been successful.” – Iqbal Rashid Sayed, Assissant Manager, Civil Construction, Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd

“The show should focus on more quality indigenous cleaning equipment that will help in raising cleaning standards. It is heartening to see the concept of professional cleaning taking off in the country and shows like Clean India ably promoting cleanliness by creating awareness.” – D.K. Das, Government Hospital, Shilong.

“The knowledge gained here o
n various cleaning techniques will be relayed on to our seniors so that it can be implemented and help in the Corporation’s cleaning operations. This is the first time we have attended an expo of such a kind and hope that such shows are organised more, so even the peripheral cities can benefit from them.” – Sunil Narayan Mane, Office Superintendent, Solapur Municipal Corporation.

“Clean India Pulire is a very good platform to that showcases and understands the cleaning needs of industries especially those of food industry. We came looking to satisfy our cleaning needs and the show provided us with not only solutions but also various choices. Many innovative cleaning equipment in steam cleaning and floor cleaning were showcased which will definitely help in enhancing our cleaning operations.” – Manoj Mundhada, Deputy Manager Production, Amul Virar Dairy

“This is the first time I have visited the show and it is interesting to know that Clean India Pulire has service providers, cleaning products and consumables available under a single roof. It makes sense for a company like Reliance Retail Limited, which undertakes maintenance of vast areas countrywide, to get updated on the developments in the cleaning industry. Knowing that there is a show exclusively dedicated to cleanliness & hygiene, it makes it easier to get in touch with the right people for the correct solutions. Such a Show provides us with many choices for various cleaning operations and even enables us to pick and chose the perfect partner suitable for cleaning operations.

“A customer will always prefer a store that is cleaner, more hygienic and fresher; retail is all about best customer experience. A hygienic area adds value, multiplies customer entry and that translates into business. So, cleanliness & hygiene always finds itself in the top rung of priority for the retail sector. The number of exhibitors, products and consumables available has exceeded expectations. Congratulations to the Clean India Pulire team for organising such a splendid show. We will make efforts to attend other such shows as well.” – Shakti Chauhan, Country Head-Facility Management, Reliance Retail Limited.

“Being responsible for maintaining the temple and allied properties on the premises of ISKCON-Juhu, visiting this Show has been a very nice experience for me. We came across many cleaning products that we felt could help in maintaining hygiene in our properties and have collected contacts of concerned people for the same. We were under the impression that Shows like these generally cater to the corporate crowd. We are happy that we were invited. We are certainly taking back a lot of ideas to be implemented. The latest cleaning practices are followed and equipment are used to maintain the temple and allied structures as every structure is same and requires similar treatment. As always said, Cleanliness is next to Godliness; a clean surrounding invokes clean consciousness and actions.” – Sitaram Das, Maintenance Incharge, ISKCON- Juhu

“The R&D center of Aditya Birla Group is a very unique and innovative structure and maintaining it has been very challenging. The service providers were struggling to maintain it. We realised that it is our property that is being maintained and so it is imperative that we are aware of the cleaning standards and practices for better efficacy of operations. Our housekeeping team also visited the Show to keep themselves updated.

“It is of vital importance to have correct customised solutions for any cleaning problem. Masking or camouflaging is not the solution; elimination of the problem has to be practiced. Various equipment and consumables exhibited here will help enhance the cleaning standards of our facility.” – Vineet Vijayan, GM-Administration, Aditya Birla Group

“I visited the Show with an objective of identifying competent and competitive suppliers for general surface cleaners and found customised solutions. Clean India Journal can go a long way in match-making and hand-holding between buyers and suppliers.

“I congratulate Virtual Info Systems for the stupendous success of the show and earnestly hope that the team will continue to organise such events in future with the same focus and enthusiasm.” – S.K. Shrama,

Sr. Deputy Material Manager, Mumbai Port Trust.
