Kibble Enterprises is among the first to introduce precision quality regular consumables through injection moulds in India. Anjana Vij, Director, Kibble Enterprises, told Clean India Journal that there is a big market of these consumables in India. “All plastic components used in cleaning tools are made up of polypropylene material that is moulded by injection moulding machines. Our major consumers are from hospitality segment – hotels, hospitals, industries or domestic.
“Earlier these consumables were being procured from the international market as the local products in many cases were falling short of expected standards. Moreover, it gets cost effective because of the reduction of transportation, duty, freight, etc., incurred in getting from outside,” she said.
Kibble Enterprises joined hands with Gian’s Meditronics (GM), a Delhi based company dealing in moulds & moulding of superior quality surgical and automobile injection moulds, to manufacture tools and provide precision quality products in the market at competitive prices. Kibble and GM together have successfully developed many tools, including dry mop frame & its mop, Kentucky wet mop holder and its mop, Caddy – carry basket, signages, wipers and aluminum handles.
“These tools come with colour coding to avoid cross contamination and have found wide usage in India. We are planning to develop more such products for a growing market,” Anjana added. Meanwhile, Kibble Enterprises has entered into a joint venture with IPC Ready System in January 2012 to market its tools in India. Some of the products include wringer trolleys and a wide range of microfibre mops.
