Electrolux Professional has introduced ‘Lagoon’, a new wet cleaning system, which includes cleaning, drying and finishing equipment. In this system, water is used as the base for an effective and ecological fibres’ detersion and regenerating process.
As the first wet cleaning system to be endorsed by the Woolmark Company, Lagoon has dedicated programs and specially developed detergents for superior cleaning results of even the most delicate garments and the ones labeled with ‘Dry Clean Only’. The use of water and bio-degradable detergents, as opposed to chemical solvents, reduces the risk of inhalation, burn and allergies. The biodegradable detergents used in the process are compliant with the international environmental standards EC 91/ 155.
