Today manufacturers of laundry equipment and chemicals are driven by meeting demands for energy efficient and water efficient solutions which is largely seen in almost all markets, especially growing markets. Much of these machines are suitable for Indian commercial, retail and hospitality laundry sectors. Industrial machines that traditionally require 40 gallons per wash cycle, the new range of machines take half the water.

Kannegiesser which had the biggest booth of almost the size of a hall, showcased the full range of industrial solutions, including robot run machines. Alliance introduced machines with higher capacity and smaller footprint besides Girbau, Lavatec, Electrolux, Dexter, Jensen, Milnor, Seitz, Christeyens, Union, Renzacci, Kreussler, Miele and other leading player displaying much advanced laundry and dry cleaning machines, laundromats, eco-friendly chemical and dispensing system and sorting and pressing solutions.
Many of the companies already having presence in India either through an agent or directly, are looking at establishing partners and distributor network. Manufacturers of laundry and dry cleaning machines, while servicing the stable European market, are looking at Africa, Asia, Far East, Middle East, Latin America and North America as potential markets for expansion. About eight Indian companies from the linen and textile end also participated in the expo.
