The newly formed North Council of the Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum organised “The Power of Collaboration” at the PHD Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi recently. Present during the meet was the HPMF core team, including President Shiv Shankar Menon, Vice President Sanjay Goyal, General Secretary Rajesh Panse, Joint secretaries Amitabh Shrivastav and Priya Malhotra along with the council administrative members Jairaj Singh, Kaushik Jhingan, Surender Sharma, Gyan Upadhyay and Dr Harshvardhan Singh were introduced to the world on this day.
On this occasion, Shiv Shankar Menon spoke about the future plans of HPMF, “We are excited about the Global footprint of HPMF. Soon we will launch the UAE chapter, and we are in the process of having a tie up with purchasing associations of Singapore, USA and Vietnam. We are also planning to open a school of procurement soon in Maharashtra,” he said.
Nitin Nagrale, Founder & General Secretary of HPMF, concluded the event by inviting all the dignitaries to the seventh Anniversary conference and awards of HPMF in Jodhpur from September 14 to 16. On the proposed collaboration with trade associations, Nagrale said that the objective is to look beyond the individual issues and try to address them collectively. “We are looking at a consortium with representatives of couple of core committee members from each association in it,” he added.
