IPHA joins hands with Kerala Housekeepers’ Forum

I-Professional Housekeepers’Association, India’s leading association of hospitality housekeepers, has expanded into South India by joining hands with the Kerala Housekeepers’ Forum. Expanding rapidly, the association has more than 500 members across India.

The Kerala Housekeepers’ Forum steered by Sumesh Sashidharan, Forum Coordinator and Annie Mendez, Forum Coordinator, sealed the merger with IPHA’s Vaishali Sinha, General Secretary and Sonia Mital, PR, Media & CSR Head recently.

United by a common professional culture, IPHA aims at bringing together all the housekeepers in the southern region into its fold. Soon IPHA will also be launching its East chapter.

The main objective of IPHA is to bring the housekeeping fraternity under one roof. Besides this IPHA is a forum where EHK’s can easily exchange professional information and ideas. Networking events, training programs, recognition programme for excellence in housekeeping, resource sharing of standards and specifications, exposure through trade visits (national and international), certification programme, global connections with other housekeepers’ associations, transparency in sourcing through reliable vendors, ecofriendly work practices, encourage students to consider a career in hospitality / housekeeping, conducting CSR are a few other objectives of IPHA.
