A new study conducted by Kaivac Inc, the makers of the No-Touch Cleaning® System and the new OmniFlex™ Crossover Cleaning System, found that 97% of Building Service Contractors and others in the professional cleaning industry are aware that ‘using mops and buckets can spread soils’. The survey found that 67% of the hard surface floor being cleaned was vinyl composite tile (VOC), followed by terrazzo at 20%. Cement floors were also considered as an easy floor to maintain. The survey also revealed that 27% of the respondents prefer using mops and buckets because they are fast, easier and more effective than other floor cleaning systems.
