In a recent move, Anil Sethi, the man behind Karcher in India, has resigned as Managing Director and the Spokesman of the Management of Karcher Systems India Pvt Ltd for personal reasons. This will be effective from September 30, 2013.
Anil Sethi, a well-known stalwart in mechanised cleaning business has been associated with the cleaning business since 1988 and the Karcher brand since 1998. Prior to April 2011, he headed Manmachine India Pvt Ltd, which he established in 1987. During the decade long collaboration, he was instrumental in building up the sales and service network of Karcher in India.
After the merger of Manmachine India Pvt Ltd in Karcher, he held the position of Managing Director of Karcher subsidiary in India and was the sole motivation and force behind putting systems and sustainable growth programmes. During his tenure, the company registered excellent growth and established its presence not only in India but in the subcontinent as well. He is seen as a leader for raising standards of mechanized cleaning in India. A front runner, cleaning was his passion and mission of life. His exit will be a big loss for Karcher India.
Anil Sethi will now be heading the family firm, Manmachine Works Pvt Ltd. He confirms, “I will rejoin Manmachine Works, a facility service company and support my children in establishing themselves. And, be responsible human beings. I will remain attached to the cleaning industry.” He has been closely associated with Clean India Journal & Clean India Shows, since its inception.
