Noida gets facelift

The Noida civic officials are planning to clean up the streets and drains to give a completely fresh look before the Commonwealth Games. The drains will be upgraded, covered and beautified by constructing Jogger’s Park, taxi stands, car parking sites or plantation areas. Ventilating columns at regular intervals are proposed along covered drains to prevent odour in the adjoining areas. Suitable ramp with gated entry shall be provided near road crossings.
