Over 150 student volunteers of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA) took to streets and Amity University campus equipped with brooms and dust pans, emphasising on the importance of hygiene and cleanliness.
“Cleanliness and hygiene factors are extremely important values for the pharmaceutical industry, given the fact that it is the high standards of hygiene that are a prerequisite for functioning in pharmaceutical lab and manufacturing. Therefore, we have a much greater realization and appreciation for cleanliness,” emphasised B. R. Sikri, Chairman Local Organizing Committee, 70th IPC. The Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association (IPGA), the students’ body, hosted the event.
